Else where, three persons were killed in a supremacy battle between two rival groups in Opu-Nembe in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
VOP news gathered that an aide to the Youth President of Opu-Nembe, his unnamed girlfriend and another person were reportedly shot dead by armed youths who invaded the community.
A source claimed that some youths invaded the community and started shooting indiscriminately leading to the death of the three persons.
The Bayelsa Police spokesman Asinim Butswat confirmed the clash but did not specify the casualty figures.
