Lagos state in a bid to reduce the housing deficit in Lagos, the State Government has added another twenty units of two-bedroom blocks of flats in Surulere area of the State.

Constructed by the State Development and Property Corporation,LSDPC, the mini housing estate which is known as Love Garden Apartments.

Governor Sanwo-Olu who unveiled the apartments on Allen road in Surulere, also handed over the Omolewa Vocational Centre to the people.

The Governor described the mini housing estate and vocational school project as another testament of a promise kept in line with the development agenda he unveiled prior to his election

Duration: 29″In a remark, the Commissioner for Housing, Mr Akinderu Fatai said Lagosians should look forward to the handing over of more housing units before the end of the year as the current administration is determined to bridge the housing gap.

On his part, the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board, Mr Wahab Alawiye-King noted that the land on which the mini estate and Vocational Centre was constructed is a liability turned into asset as the land on which the mini estate was constructed used to be the nursing section of the defunct government demonstration school compound taken over by unknown elements.

Earlier, LSDPC Managing Director, Mr. Ayodeji Joseph said the Corporation would be inviting the Governor to unveil the Ilupeju Garden and first phase of Iconic Towers before the end of the year.

The three suspended floor Love Garden Apartments are tastefully finished with ample car parks and would be supplied with a twenty four hour power supply
