Indigenes of Enugwu Nanka, in Nanka community, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State, have appealed to Governor Chukwuma Soludo to come to their aid, saying that killings were becoming too much.

In a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter written to the governor by the leadership of Enugwu Nanka village, which was signed by Joe Omehaa, chairman, and Peter Godson Oforkansi, secretary, the village union said there had been division in Nanka and that some powerful indigenes were seeking to silence the majority for standing by the truth.

The letter cited several incidents of killings and attempted assassinations in the community, stating that the new norm is to stop police investigations after every killing.
